Linda Armstrong was born in Yonkers, NY and lived on the coast of New Jersey for many years. She studied painting at the Art Students League of New York and printmaking at Binghamton University. Her work is exhibited widely in both national and international exhibits and is in the collections of New York State Council of the Arts, NYSEG, Canada Dry Corporation, SUNY Broome, Wilson Sporting Goods, Haworth Press, Roberson Center and other public and private collections.
She is a signature member of the Pastel Society of America, Connecticut Pastel Society, and Pastel Painters Society of Cape Cod. She is also an elected artist member of the Salmagundi Club, Academic Artists Association and the Catharine Lorillard Wolfe Art Club, and an artist member of Windsor Whip Works Art Gallery. She is also a member of the Transparent Watercolor Society of America and an associate member of the American Watercolor Society. She currently lives and works in upstate New York.
