Linda Armstrong was born in Yonkers, NY and lived on the coast of New Jersey for many years. She studied painting at the Art Students League of New York and printmaking at Binghamton University. Her work is exhibited widely in both national and international exhibits and is in the collections of New York State Council of the Arts, NYSEG, Canada Dry Corporation, SUNY Broome, Wilson Sporting Goods, Haworth Press, Roberson Center and other public and private collections.
She is a master circle member of the International Association of Pastel Societies and a signature member of the Pastel Society of America, Connecticut Pastel Society, and Pastel Painters Society of Cape Cod. She is an elected artist member of the Salmagundi Club of NY, Academic Artists Association and the Catharine Lorillard Wolfe Art Club. She is also an associate member of Oil Painters of America and the American Impressionist Society.
She currently lives and works in upstate New York and spends part of each summer in Cape Cod, where she is represented by the Cortile Gallery in Provincetown.
